Angelique Sharpe

Ms. Sharpe brings to the WACYCP board, over 15 years of experience working with children, youth, and families. As a native of Milwaukee, Angelique grew up attending youth programs such as the Hillside boys & Girls club, the SOS center's after school program, the Parklwan YMCA's Black Achievers, and Silver Spring Neighborhood Center's Teen Leadership program; all programs which taught her the value of leadership, learning, and service. As a result of her commitment to the field of Youth Work, Ms. Sharpe now serves as the Founder and Executive Director of both L.A.D.Y. Inc University, a Child & Youth Education Center which serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years that focuses on providing high quality child/youth care and training, and L.A.D.Y. Inc, an IRS federally recognized 501 c3 non profit that specializes in youth services delivery programs that focus on promoting self-efficacy and self-sufficiency by creating innovative ways to engage and educate the rising rate of teens facing adult situations. Angelique is creative, devoted, and lives by her motto which is Loving And Developing Youth (L.A.D.Y.).
