Britney Morgan is a senior at UW-Milwaukee majoring in Community Engagement/Community Education with a certificate in Community-Based Organizations.
Along with being a board member for the WACYCP, she is part of the Emerging Leaders Program at UWM and has worked for COA Youth & Family Centers from 2006 to 2014. Britney has been involved with the WACYCP since 2011, when she first attended the conference and made it her duty to become a board member. She brings a wealth of wisdom and from working and serving youth for over 8 and a half years from camps (Camp Helen Brachman), involvement at church, and developing youth leadership with teens through the Youth Leadership Institute.
Britney is currently a Public Ally working at United Way of Greater & Waukesha County with the Milwaukee LIHF (Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families) Collaborative that works to reduce the high rates of infant mortality within the city of Milwaukee. Britney has a heart for community work which is why she is so passionate about the work being done through the WACYCP in its efforts to develop youth workers within Wisconsin on a professional level. Britney is a published poet, spoken-word artist, a mentor, and hopes to pursue a career as a Life Coach.
